I just had an amazing lunch yesterday at Quintessence in the East Village. It is a very small, zen like restaurant that is very affordable for a raw restaurant in NYC. I had the lunch special which included their home-made apple cider which I had served warm (it was really good, that I would come back just for that). Then I ordered the ravioli combo which comes with squash pasta and your choice of sauce either marinara or pesto. I went for the pesto along with a side salad. It was very filling and only $12.00. I was impressed by the quality, taste, and affordability of my entire meal. I highly recommend anyone to check out this place if you are in the area. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
